Horsham Business Association Excellence in Business - Tom Friedman, Horsham Square Pharmacy

Tom’s father owned Yardley Pharmacy, which featured a lunch counter and a soda fountain, making it the town’s social hub. Growing up in the store, Tom learned the ins and outs of the business and witnessed his father's dedication to the community. This experience inspired him to start his own venture: Horsham Square Pharmacy, which prioritizes patient care and community service.

Horsham Square Pharmacy has donated over $150,000 to various community projects, school initiatives, sports teams, and local events, as well as supporting food and women’s shelters. They are proud founding supporters of Everyone’s Playground in Horsham, the largest play facility for disabled children in the state. In the early 90s, the pharmacy became the first in the area to host large in-store vaccination clinics and continues its commitment to community outreach by providing vaccinations to senior residents in low-income housing and to local police, fire, and township personnel.
